Teaching Methodology
(A paradigm shift from pedagogy to andragogy)

Andragogy refers to learner-focused education and obviously so, adequately reflects the academically professional character of ICAT.

ICAT strongly advocates a paradigm shift in academic delivery by focusing on andragogy and not the conventional pedagogical way.

The faculty members at ICAT follow a well-grounded amalgamation of formal, interactive, customized and experiential methods to impart an intellectually-induced learning experience to the students.

Classroom lecture (as per the credit allotted to each paper), group discussion, seminar, case study, individual and/ or group presentation, modularized instruction, test/ quiz, live project, in-house and field assignment and role play are the commonly used application-oriented methodologies at ICAT.

With its focus on andragogy, state-of-the-art classrooms, innovation-driven teaching aids and moreover, the unique L3 (Life-skills Learning Lab) experience, ICAT is actionably redefining ‘learning’ as a constructive stimulant of professionalism and not merely a knowledge upgrading process.
